As you will have seen on social media and via email the past few months has been very busy. The committee have been hard at working bringing the club into the 21st century and part of that is launching this new website. Alongside this we now have a Facebook page to advertise the club on social media and keep everyone as up to date with the fishing as possible.

Out on the water there have been some big changes. A totally new plan has been developed for the coarse waters to make the fishing on our waters the best in the North west. Some of the effects of this new plan can already been seen in terms of new habitat improvements at Cleabarrow and the addition of a few very large carp! WADAA is also pleased to announce that Castle Head will be available to our members come Easter of 2019. To top it all off a detailed plan has been made of the course of action at Ratherheath to bring it back to its former glory and beyond.

On the trout waters the biggest piece of news is the addition of Farletonview to our portfolio. This vastly increases the opportunities to fish a spring fed ultra clear lake ideal for stalking. Not only that but it massively increases the amount of disabled access that the club has to trout fishing. Coupled with this our new improved stocking plan should improve the average catch returns across the whole season, with stocking being more regular and progressing throughout the year.

If you have any queries please feel free to contact the club using the contact us page.
