The bridge across to the first island will be removed and replaced over the next 2 weeks, starting tomorrow morning, 14th May.
There is no access onto the island or in the surrounding areas of the works, for the duration.
The short-term disruption will be more than offset by another great improvement on our venues. At the same time, we’ll be replacing all the walkways at the dam end of the tarn, including adding some new ones over some wet areas.
Additionally, an extension will be added to the hut to house a toilet.
The planned works will run into the summer.
