Bigland Tarn Disruption
Please be aware that from Monday 20th June there will be some disruption to access over the short timber bridge walkway crossing the outlet stream on the dam wall at Bigland.
We will be reconstructing the outlet and during this time, this bridge will be out of commission.
The dam wall will only be accessible along the southern bank.
The work will be completed as quickly as possible, but this disruption is likely to last for a minimum of 2 weeks. This has to be completed as a legal requirement and to minimise disruption, we have planned to complete it during the summer low period (not that you’d know it judging by the weather).
