Please be aware that the weed boat will be working on Ratherheath on the 25th, 26th & 29th of June. This means the fishery will be closed from 6am on the 29th (Thursday) until 6am on the 27th of June (Saturday) and from 6am 29th (Monday) until 6am 30th (Tuesday).
We are also looking for volunteers to help with removing the weed from the water’s edge using wheelbarrows.
The working party will be from 11am till 5pm. If you are able to help even for 1 hour, then please let the administration officer know by emailing lakedistrictfishing@gmail.com.
If you are able to help, you will need to bring wheelbarrow, fork, rake and waders if you have them.
