21 August 2019
WADAA will be hosting 2 events on the first weekend in August. These events will be aimed at promoting angling, particularly for young people. However, anyone is welcome to register and attend; including non-members, as long as they are accompanied by a member. Please note that if you are under 16, you must always be accompanied by an adult (maximum 3 under 16’s per adult), throughout the day.
Each event will run from 10am till 2pm with a BBQ at lunchtime to share our fishy stories. WADAA can provide any equipment you might need; however, it is suggested that you bring your own if you have it. There will also be volunteers from the club on hand to point you in the right direction.
Day 1 (3rd of August) will be at Castlehead chasing the large perch and multitude of carp. For more information on this newly refurbished venue and direction, please refer to our website (www.lakedistrictfishing.co.uk)
Day 2 (4th of August) will be held at Ghyll Head fishery near Bowness. This venue is one of the premier trout waters in the area, so this time we will be after trout, maybe someone will catch one of the double figure fish now swimming in this lake.
If you are interested in attending either or both of these events please can you register with James Atkinson either by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by phone (07885790052). We will need your name, age and contact details. The events are limited to 15 places on a first come first served basis, reply now so that you don’t miss out!!!!
